• In the line-up of the pirate ships owned by the Eleven Supernovas (excluding Luffy and Zoro’s, as well as the Heart Pirate’s Submarine) shown in the aftermath of the Battle of Marineford, there is what appears to be a Marine battleship with an inverted color scheme. Due to his former life and rank as a rear admiral in the Marines, X-Drake either captured this ship for his own purposes or used the inverted color scheme for his personal ship.
• Drake is the first person to be revealed to have eaten an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, when it’s concept is first introduced.

• His name is based on real life privateer Sir Francis Drake.

• In the 5th Japanese Fan Poll, X Drake is ranked the 58th most popular character in One Piece.
• He shares his name, sideburns, and Voice actor with another character. However, this character is still a member of the Marines and is also non-canon.

• He was given two birthdays: one through an SBS (October 24th) and another in a databook (October 10th)

• Oda confirmed that if Enel were actually a wanted pirate, he might have a bounty that could possibly be as high as 500,000,000.
• Although he is Birkan, Enel lacks the Birkan wings and instead has his ring of drums in the same place they would normally be.
• Enel is the first major antagonist to use Haki. He is also the first major antagonist in the series that is not a pirate or a Marine.
• Enel is also the name of the main Italian electric company.
• The symbols seen on Enel’s drums are called tomoe and are very common in Japanese heraldry such as family emblems and corporate logos. The tomoe are also present on another One Piece character, Sentomaru.
• In the 3rd and 4th Japanese Fan Poll, Enel is ranked the 22nd most popular character. In the 5th poll, he ranked 48th.
• In Unlimited Adventure, when Enel is fought in story mode the game displays his name as “Enel”, but when accessed in multiplayer mode the game displays his name as “Eneru”.
• Enel didn’t appear in any opening that was used during the Skypiea arc, but he was later included in the 2008 remix of We Are! .
• Monkey D. Luffy being Enel’s natural enemy (due to his Devil Fruit immunity to Enel’s Goro Goro no Mi) is highly appropriate, as the Family of D. is referred to as “God’s Natural Enemy” (神の天敵 Kami no Tenteki^?) and Enel believes himself to be a God.
• Enel’s belief that he is a god is also similar to the Celestial Dragons who see themselves as godlike.

In one of the interviews, Oda said that the final arc of One Piece will be about a war so huge that will make Marineford war look like an unimportant filler!

Sakazuki was nominated for the position of fleet admiral after Sengoku had retired. Kuzan, however, was against the idea of having him become the new fleet admiral and the two admirals battled each other for the position on Punk Hazard. The battle lasted for ten days and their respective powers caused Punk Hazard to permanently be frozen on one half and burning on the other. In the end, Sakazuki ended up as the victor of that battle, although both men were seriously wounded. Sakazuki, however, decided to let Kuzan live because they were comrades.His new leadership has given the Marines a stronger sense of Absolute Justice. Not wanting to serve under Sakazuki, Kuzan decided to resign from the Marines. After becoming fleet admiral, Sakazuki decided to relocate the Marine Headquarters to the New World in exchange for the G-1branch.

As fleet admiral, Sakazuki instituted a mandatory draft to bolster the forces of the Marines; Admirals Fujitora and Ryokugyu were recruited in this draft.

It’s an enhanced version of “Sanzen Sekai”. Zoro delivers massive slashes to his opponent one after another. This technique can be done airbone and is capable of cutting through a large amount of solid stone with ease. This was first used against Pica, slashing several times his giant stone body to lure him out and defeat him with the final slash of the move. When Zoro used this technique he used Haki on his swords to make them more durable and the attack even stronger. Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds, often shortened to simply Three Thousand Worlds or Great Thousand Worlds, refers to Buddhist cosmology.

Oda: Powers of a higher tier exist indeed, for now it’s the following 4.
ton ton > kilo kilo ; hie hie > yuki yuki ; magu magu > mera mera ; buki buki > supa supa
And there are some more of the same sort, and such that are rather doubtful, but it’s also a question of who is using the fruit and how. And the strength of a fruit doesn’t equal the strength of the character.
You can never know which fight will occur, and how it ends.
