Today I will be discussing the possibility of Kidd joining the Law – Strawhat Alliance!

It’s pretty clear that Scratchmen Apoo betrayed Kidd and joined Kaidou

We don’t know yet what happened to Basil Hawkins, but I guess since he is not in a cell like Kidd is, I can think of three things…

-he escaped
-he joined Kaidou as well
-he is in a different cell

But if he is in a cell, why Oda didn’t show us Hawkins as well?

Why he choose to saw us only Kidd?

Anyway, I don’t think he is a captive… I believe he either escaped or joined Kaidou

In few words… the alliance Kidd – Hawkins – Apoo exist no more!

This exciting development opened a new little window…

The basis for the establishment of the most powerful Supernova Alliance!

Although there is an antagonism between Kidd and Luffy, if the need arises, I believe there is a great chance for them to shake hands

We saw it once, at Sabaody Archipelago and we can see it again!

Could it be that Oda was foreshadowing a future alliance between them?

I believe so… But how can they reach an agreement, when Kidd is rotting in a cell?

One world… Killer!

When we see Kid, we always see Killer as well…

I don’t remember ever seeing Kidd without Killer at his side…

Sabaody, New World, underground, Kaidou appearance…

So, I think that if Killer was a captive, Oda would have shown him to us

This led me to believe that Killer most likely escape.
Probably Kid’s crew as well.

However, there is a big problem… they find themselves alone with no allies in the New World, surrounded by enemies, unable to rescue their captain and even themselves…

So, I believe Killer MUST find allies or perish with his captain!

And who are the best candidates? Well, they were in every newspaper…

What I am trying to say is, that there is no way Killer doesn’t know about the defeat of Doflamingo and the destruction of the smile factories

This action led them to an open war with Kaidou, and Killer knows that

We ‘ve seen him in very few moments, but we can tell that he is smart. The previous alliance was made thanks to him, despite how it turn out to be…

When you confronting such a monster, you can easily change your mind!

Before I continue, I want to emphasize something…

Kidd has something in common with Luffy…

It’s his stubbornness and stupidity… He chose to face Kaidou despite being alone, than working under him, much like how Luffy would do!

“You can be my underlings instead” xD

But, there are still unanswered questions that have to be answered!

When, where and how Killer going to meet them?

One group is headed to Wano(Law – Zoro) and from the looks of it, Kaidou and Kidd are in Wano…

So, if we think about it logically this group is easier to meet than the other one

However, there are two obstacles… Law and Zoro!
I cannot see them reaching an agreement, especially with Zoro there…

Law is there also, but as of now they risk too much, just to save one person …and Law knows this…

He is a very strategical and careful person, so i don’t believe he would make such a risky move.

To go to a Yonko’s lair is a very dangerous thing, whatever the reason may be…

Yes, to have Kidd as an ally is beneficial, but not under these circumstances.

Except of course, if Oda planning to make two rescue arcs…
One group rescuing Sanji and other rescuing Kidd…

Now that I am talking about it, I think it has some low chances of happening and it’s not that all unlikely

The second choice would have been to go after Luffy’s group…
But for what reason he would choose to go after that group and not Zoro’s group?

Could have been possible for Killer to think so much ahead?
Or does he knows that Luffy is stupid and the chances to make the deal happen, are higher?

I think that if he would choose Luffy’s group, it would have been for none of the above!

It would have been because he knows someone…
You guessed right… Sanji!

There are many theories claiming that Killer is Sanji’s brother and the last chapter made me think about it a lot!

It would make sense, and in this way Oda can connect Kid and Luffy way easier!

This would have given an extra motive for this alliance to happen.

But regardless of him being a brother or not to Sanji, I believe if in the end does choose Luffy’s group, he is going to help rescue Sanji and in return they will form the alliance.

However, I believe it connects a lot nicer and more beautifully if he is Sanji’s brother as well!

Lastly, let’s not forget that Kidd sunk two of Big Mom’s ships

…and maybe this is the reason why Kaidou is keeping Kidd alive… as a bargaining chip!

The name of the Great Kingdom

Among the greatest mysteries of One Piece, there is the name of the Great Kingdom. Remember, Professor Clover tried to reveal its name but was shot by the CP9 in Ohara. I have a theory about it and it could be a name that we all have heard often.

Preamble: the name “One Piece”

First of all, I don’t think the name of the Great Kingdom is One Piece. From what we know, the One Piece is a treasure that exists (no matter the kind), as Whitebeard proclaimed before his dead. In contrary, the Great Kingdom have been destroyed by the Ancient Alliance which will become the World Governmennt. Plus, I think it will be too obvious from Oda, I hope the meaning of the One Piece is more specific.
That being said, let’s begin the theory.

Part 1: the Poneglyphs and Joy Boy

According to Professor Clover, the people that left behind the Poneglyphs was the Great Kingdom. And around 800 years ago, a man named Joy Boy wrote the Ryugu Poneglyph, the one in the Sea Forest. So, we can assume that Joy Boy was a member of the Great Kingdom.

I will not beat around the bush, I think Joy Boy was the king of the Great Kingdom. Like many theorists, I believe that Oda draw his inspiration from Joyoboyo, the Javanese king.
For those who don’t know him, Joyoboyo was a famous king in Java 800 years ago in the real world. The similarities between the names and the periods are suspicious. Since then, we can wonder how much Oda draw his inspiration from him. I think that is more than we could thought.

Part 2: the prophecy and the Void Century

Some prophecies are attributed to Joyoboyo. One of them is very interesting:

“The Javanese would be ruled by whites for 3 centuries and by yellow dwarfs for the life span of a maize plant prior to the return of the Ratu Adil: whose name must contain at least one syllable of the Javanese Noto Negoro.”

The period before the return of the Ratu Adil is called the chaotic era. The next after him is the golden era. Reminds us something, right?

If Oda draw his inspiration from this prophecy, it can clarify the Void Century and the future of One Piece:
– “The Javanese would be ruled by whites for 3 centuries…” can be the reign of the World Government.
– “… by yellow dwarfs for the life of a maize plant…” can be the future short reign of the Blackbeard Pirates. Some versions talk about “brothers” instead of dwarfs.
– “… prior to the return of the Ratu Adil” can be the return of the Pirate King. In Fact, Ratu Adil means “Just King”.

From what we got, we can speculate that Joy Boy was a prophet king. He could predict the future like Madam Shyarly or Basil Hawkins. Before the end of the Great Kingdom, its people wrote the Poneglyphs for telling their story to the next generation. But more importantly, for telling that a “Just King” will return to save the world. And maybe, by finding the One Piece.

Part 3: the “Just King” and the “Will of D.”

When I first read this prophecy, one part attracts my attention more than the others : “whose name must contain at least one syllabe of the Javanese Noto Negoro.” (Noto Negoro is a Javanese name).
So, we can presume that the name of the “Just King” must contain at least one part of the name of the Great Kingdom, and by the way, must be a descendant of its people.

Hmm, it’s strange. The “syllabe” reminds me a middle initial that possess several characters in there name. You guess it? Of course, the “D.”.

In my opinion, the ideal of the Great Kingdom have a link with the piracy and liberty. The adventurers, the explorers, the dreamers… all of them are the ideological inheritors of the Great Kingdom. And one day, the “Will of D.” will be fulfilled: a pirate with the middle initial “D.” in his name will return and become the “Just King”.

So, we have our ultimate clue: as the name of the “Just King”, the name of the Great Kingdom must contain the middle initial “D.”.

Part 4: the name of the Great Kingdom

And I found it. It’s obvious and it make sense.

Like Gold Roger’s real name is Gol D. Roger, something in the One Piece World have a similar name. Something so great that it can rule the world…

Grand Line.
Or you can spell it: “Gran D. Line”.

Think about it: all Poneglyphs that we know of their existence are in this sea. Every major events happen it this sea. The Shandians, Alabasta… all these old and great civilisations are from there. And finaly: to become the Pirate King, you have to conquer this sea.

Conclusion

Joy Boy was the prophet king of the Great Kingdom. He predicted the return of a “Just King” who will save the world: the Pirate King. The name of the “Just King” must contain a part of the name of the Great Kingdom because he will be a descendant of its inhabitants.

Every pirate are the ideological inheritors of the ideal of the Great Kingdom. The people who have the middle initial “D.” in their name are the descendant of its inhabitants. So, the name of the Great Kingdom must contain the “D.” too. One great place in the world and in the history of One Piece bear its name: Grand Line.

★Kaido and his dream of a DF only Pirate Crew!★

First of all, we know that our King of Beasts—Kaido the Yonko had been recieving SMILE from Donquixote Doflamingo for a few years in the story. As we know, SMILE, is an artificial DF that was created by Vegapunk which then the Idea was taken by Caesar Clown to make the main ingredient, The SAD. Kaido, who was the no.1 customer, had recieved more than 500 smiles and in result, he got more than 500 Zoan users in his pirate crew! 
At first, I thought he created an army of DF users was to make his death more awsome if somehow he’ll get killed by the Marines. But, ever since I saw this page :

that page made me thinks that Kaido’s dream is to make the greatest pirate crew in the world, which is a DF only Pirate crews!

★The Fall of his Dream and his Next Move!★

After the fall of the Donquixote Family, the order of smiles had been stopped which include the one that was meant for Kaido. This mean that Kaido will not able to fulfilled his desire! And as we know from Law, Kaido will never make negotiation that even Doflamingo got scared as shit by it!

If we think again, Kaido should aim for Luffy and Law directly in the near future, but this page might says no to it

On that page, we can assumed that Kaido is ordering Kidd to send his message to the SHP. This means, somehow Kaido got something more important to do rather than crushing the one who kill his dream! Then what actually makes it so important? The answer is that his dream wasn’t completely crushed and he still have hopes in creating smiles once again!

Then what’s Kaido’s only hope?

But now, currently Caesar Clown was taken by Big Mom pirates and will be taken to the Whole Cake Island which is actually BM based of operation!
As for now, we don’t know if Kaido know where Caesar is, but as we know, Inu stated he’s kind of worried about how Jack was able to find Zunisha in the first place and by this, we may conclude that there’s a spy among the Minks!

There are some that might be the spy which might be Pedro or Carrot. Which kind of scares me since I’m a Carrot fan.

But I really doubt if one of them is the spy since we know their character, but in case that Oda might troll us, I’ll make them as suspect! Since anything can happened in OP! And an actual spy can cover their personality and turn into a very different person once been found out by others.

As for the spy, he/she might also be a Minks that stay at Zou and informed Kaido and his crew about where Caesar actually is, and what happened at Zou!

★Luffy at a Yonko base?! What can he do?★

Seriously, Luffy is strong alright, but if he was placed in the middle of a Yonko base, what can he do? Even an admiral will be in danger in that moment! Hiding is impossible, pretty sure all high rankers in BM crew have Haki

This got me thinking, Big Mom—Charlotte Linlin is an old woman that even eat her own crew, how in the world Luffy will able to convinced BM to return Sanji? My bet if he ask that BM Pirates will immediately kill Luffy and The Swirly Hats at that moment!

After I read some theories about Vinsmoke and Bege’s betrayal, there might be a possibility that the Vinsmoke is actually planning to kill Big Mom! As Bege was based on Al Capone in real life.

Even if the betrayal will happen, as Tamago stated on ch 824, the Vinsmoke Power is still under the BMP strengh!when Tamago said that Vinsmokes will be BM’s underling! Then how will the Vinsmoke finish their job?

Yes, this might be the perfect time for Oda to introduce Ryokugyu! I haven’t found any theory that support this, but since Vinsmoke is an assasin, they work because they were paid, and the possibility is that the WG was the one who give the Job! Even Germa66 was able to make Sanji’s only alive which means that Vinsmoke and WG have a strong relations!

★Kaido and The Calamities! Crush the Tea Party!★

As I said before, Kaido will go to Caesar is, which is the Whole Cake Island! Visiting another Yonko territory could means a war, so he’ll take his full force too this time! it might be weird for him to attack another Yonko just because of Caesar, but if he’s dream is to have DF only Pirate crew, then chases after your dream is normal right? Even Teach have to betray his own family, well not all people like him tho..

We know that It took the entire 3 Admirals along with 100.000 special troop to beat WB at Marineford. So, even Ryokugyu won’t be enough to beat Big Mom! So this is the moment where I believe Kaido and the Hundred Beast Pirates will crush to the tea party and fight the Big Mom Pirates!

Even with her Full power, BM enemy is the strongest Assasin family, an Admiral, and another Yonko full Power!

★The WCI War!★
The whole war I believe will take place on the WCI. It’ll be an unofficial alliance battle between BM-SHP and Kaido-Vinsmoke-Admiral! These are the fight that might happen!

1. Kaido-Ryokugyu vs Big Mom, even WB was able to hold one Admiral! So my bet this will be BM final battle as pirates. Both of them might be different but since they have the same purpose, allying with each other is acceptable in some ways.
2. Luffy-Sanji vs Germa66, I personally believe that Sanji will fight his father to cut off his relation with him and Luffy will help Sanji! This will be the end of the Assasin Organization if WCI is Truly Enies Lobby Parallels!
3. BM Pirates Commander vs The Two Calamity, This will be a fight between Commander and I believe the Calamities will win (for the sake of theory) and leave BMP commander lose their spirit after BM’s death since I believe BM fight will not last long
4. Jinbe vs Jack,Jack might be a Fishman based on ch 824 and Jinbe probably will meet Luffy this time! I believe there’ll be no winner and will end up in draw

The rest of the fight will probably between the Swirly Hat and BMP fodders vs Gifter of the Beast Pirates!

The war will end less than a Day and result in BM’s death which will shook the whole world! The end of the battle Kaido will leave Luffy this time since Ryokugyu is there and there’s a high risk that the Gifter might be annihilated if he keeps fighting! That will ruin his DF only pirate crew! So he’ll leave the WCI without killing Luffy and bring along Caesar with him!

This battle with end with Pekoms saying that the SH Alliance is targeting Kaido and BMP remnants will join as his alliance!

★The Things That Support this Theory★

What Luffy said was taken as a Joke by some people but I believe it’s actually a foreshadowing by Oda that BMP will all become his underling (Minus BM)

The second one is that This might be the perfect time to settle things with BM for Oda since we already in the final stage! There will not much time and we got BB,RA and Reviere to cover since Oda already teased us about it!

Ever since Kaido was mentioned, several theories regarding his powers have surfaced all over the internet. The most popular ones being:

1. Dragon Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit
2. Oni Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit
3. Oni with no Devil Fruit

I have always been switching between Oni and Dragon every time we get some new information on Kaido.
When he first appeared in the manga (Chapter 795) an idea struck my mind…what if he is both an Oni and a Dragon…let me explain.

I will provide reasons for why I think this way in this post.

Before I can explain anything, I would like to mention that when I say Dragon, I mean a Japanese or Chinese Dragon only (I don’t know the differences between them, but I know that they are very very similar) and for those of you who don’t know what an Oni is, it’s pretty much the Japanese Ogre. A demon like mythical creature in Japanese folklore.
They are characterized by their enormous size, demon-like horns, an iron club they’re usually depicted carrying.

Here’s an Oni:

As depicted in a video game:

And here is Kaido:

Notice the similarities right? Monstrous appearance and size, fuzzy hair, horns and in Chpater 824 we got confirmation that Kaido uses an Iron Club as well. The similarities point strongly to the fact that Kaido is quite possibly an Oni.

Here Kaido is seen carrying and using an Iron Club.

These ‘clues’ are what convinced me that Kaido is an Oni.

Then what about the Dragon Mythical Zoan part?

In the above manga page, Kaido said his dream was to have an army/crew of only Devil Fruit users. So it would make sense if Kaido himself has a Devil Fruit, right?

BUT WAIT! There’s one more compelling reason!

With his appearance, we saw that he has a very very long mustache and some sort of (Dragon) scales on his chest and arm.. This could be hinting at his Dragon powers.

Why the mustache? Japanese dragons are depicted having long whisker like appendages on their upper lips

The scales on Kaido’s chest do resemble the scales on this Dragon (Ryuu) don’t they? And in the anime preview of episode 739, we see that his scales are reddish in color

So I’m well convinced that those scales are Dragon scales.
His mustache would become the appendages on the Dragons face and his scales will become the scales of a dragon.

Putting these two things together, we have Kaido, an Oni who ate the Dragon Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit!

Hello once again everyone and welcome back to yet another theory for your entertainment. This time I shall be discussing the crew structure of Big Mom and her daughters.

Oda himself has admitted that his drawings got alot of inspiration from Disney and he obviously has characters that are inspired from Disney.

Big Mom has 3 Disney inspirations(that relates to this theory).

Ursula from the Little Mermaid.

Ursula made a deal with Poseidon(WB), is a witch(Big Mom has alot of witch references), tried taking over Atlantis(Big Mom owns Fishman Island) and had an arranged marriage to do so.

The Evil Queen from Snow White.

The Evil Queen was jealous of her step daughter Snow White being the fairest in the land so she plotted to kill her using witchcraft. She was stopped by the 7 dwarfs and the prince.

The Evil Step Mother from Cinderella

The evil step mother was very harsh to Cinderella and wanted her real daughters to marry the prince and become rich. In the real story, the step mother made her daughters cut off parts of their feet so that the glass slipper would fit them.

Its also good to note that Cinderella was inspired by former Queen of France Marie Antoinette, who is famous for the line “Let Them Eat Cake”(and running France into the ground starting the French Revolution).

Step Mothers suck.

Big Mom loves her real daughters.

Big Mom only views her step daughters as tools for political power.

This could be why Pudding doesn’t look so happy with her wedding and Lola why goes out of her way to find spouse.

It is thanks to her step daughters and political marriages that Big Mom has more influence and reach than any yonkou.

In case you are like…”Huh??” with Sugar & Monet…

Already spoke too much about Big Mom being French in past theories….not doing it again…..

Big Mom’s ship has a crown which is another hint to Big Mom being a queen.

Big Mom’s crew also has a mafia theme.

The leader of a mafia is called Mr. Big or Father. Charlotte Linlin is known as Big Mom and Mama.

Capone himself referred to Big Mom as his boss.

Big Mom’s act of sending ‘presents’ to her victims is a common mafia punishment.

A mafia is also called a FAMILY(hence why the mafia leader can be called ‘Father’). Mafia families and alliances are extremely common in the criminal world so the Charlotte Family could be royalty, purely a mafia family or both.

To add more to the mafia boss and evil queen, Big Mom rules her crew with fear.

Hell, she even eats her crew mates alive…..

In the past few chapters, we learned two things :
– The Revolutionaries abandoned their HQ to BlackBeard.
– The Reverie is gonna take place in the upcoming days.

I think that those two events could be connected.

– The flight of the Revolutionary Army was revealed in the newspaper, so everyone will know about it. Will they remain inactive ? I don’t think so. In order to regain momentum, they need to make a strong move.

– Reverie is the perfect place for this : if they attack here, it will be as remarkable as the Marineford war. The news of the council are probably covered by many journalists, it insures a huge coverage. Moreover, a great part of the people who gather there represent exactly who they’re fighting against : corrupted and/or cruel leaders who don’t give a shit about their people (Wapol, Stelly…).

– The Cipher Pol 0 attacked Blackbeard some time after the Revolutionaries fled, so if the Revos are currently heading toward Mariejois, they’re some time ahead, they’re sure that a part of the strongest WG agents are away. It’s the perfect moment to attack.

– Although they were depicted having suffered an attack, I think, like many people, that the Revos didn’t suffer major losses. So they have still their full fighting potential.

Recently I found myself thinking about the grand scheme of One Piece and the future of the series. What follows is the result of canceled college classes, procrastination, and hard thought about the future of One Piece.

I was recently reminded of something that was told to us early in the series:

When we are given our first hints as to the nature of devil fruits, Shanks mentions a “Sea-Devil” and says that he heard that devil fruits are its incarnations. Many people (including myself) had long since forgotten this and dismissed it as simply One Piece legend. Let’s hold on to this idea because we will revisit it later, and for now, let’s set up my predictions:

Recently in Chapter 821, the series takes an interesting turn when we find out that Luffy is not the only person alive right now with the ability to hear the voice of all things, and that Momonosuke (of all people) can hear the voice as well.

I didn’t quite grasp the significance of Chapter 821 at first, but I believe the chapter is the first chapter in which we will truly begin to understand the nature of the voice of all things.

Before I proceed with the actual speculation, I would like to clear the meaning of “World Government” for upcoming thoughts. As we know, the political organization is lead by the Gorosei, the “Five Elder Stars”:

They do not only hold the greatest power in the One Piece world commanding all the Admirals and Vice-Admirals, Kong, Magellan, the latest Pacifistas, groups like CP0 and – probably the guy with the most potential at all – Dr. Vegapunk. On top of that, since they are every non-pirate’s masterminds and even look like they would have serious fighting skills, they might be on a level with the very strongest – possibly on par with a Yonko’s strength each (- just imagine the upcoming war with four Yonkos and the Pirate King versus the five Elder Stars (alongside with all the other guys)).
According to this (and ignoring those marionettes called “Tenryuubito”) we might reduce the meaning of “World Government” to that geezer team without eyebrows. So to say, five guys with one aim.
Therefor, I want to discuss the question:

The great pirate era started with Roger’s last words and was refreshed by Whitebeard as he confirmed the One Piece to be real:

So we could assume that along with the pirates the WG wants to find the One Piece. But I suspect it to be not the whole truth. The One Piece treasure will only be a means to an end. Actually, it could not be simpler:

As obvious as it seems, since every living being (without Kaidou) wants to survive, it gets quite a different meaning if we consider how hard the WG already tried to do so. It is not only about defeating and imprisoning some pirates so concrete danger dissolves. The WG is in charge of possibilites “to become as immortal as possible”.
It probably started long time before Gol D. Roger and the following pirate era.
It is all about living forever – meaning they will not die by age, nor by any disease (or wound).

We do not know how Jewelry Bonney is related to the World Government. But we do know that they are interested in her:

We also know that she is able to manipulate people’s age:

Thus, she is pretty useful to reach immortality at least in one aspect – those who benefit from her power continually would not have to die of aging. But even if the fruit’s effects worked permanently, it would not be a durable solution. The effect could be revoked as the devil fruit user becomes unconscious or dead. Or just resists the WG’s will to help.

Law’s fruit was considered to be the ultimate fruit in the world:

Eventhough, we do not know how it works exactly. But we know that the user could give his life in order to make somebody “ageless”. Still, many discussions have been arisen what it could mean. Some speculate the benefitted individual does not age anymore, some even say he/ she/ it could only die by age, but not by wounds or diseases. (In the last case, Trafalgar Law’s and Bonney’s abilities combined could make the benefitted one truly immortal as long as “Bonney’s” effect does not get revoked (and after years renewed) – which made it imbalanced.)

Princess Mansherry’s Devil Fruit makes her able to heal wounds:

Its true potential is still unknown, e. g. if it was useful for (deadly) diseases, too, or if it could even revive (!) at its potentials pinnecale. Nevertheless, it also only prevents from dying indirectly. With Law’s Fruit being considered as the most valuable DF, I am not so sure about if the WG knew about Mansherry or the Chiyu Chiyu No Mi. Sengoku seemed somewhat amazed – as if he did not know about the fruit before:

Who knows – maybe the fruit’s ability will be reported to the WG by a “bad Marine” (like Bastille or so) or the CP0 meaning that Mansherry could get captured during the upcoming Reverie.

Even lesser is known about Kaidou. It was stated that he could not die, yet:

The WG’s dream seems to be his curse. Until now, it is not known, why and how he survived so far. It might be related to his possible Devil fruit or – and that would be inaccessible by the WG – just fate and/ or luck. (In case preordained “fate” existed in the One Piece world, the WG’s efforts would be useless either way.)

Ceasar Clown revealed that Dr. Vegapunk experimented to turn humans into giants:

We know from SBS Vol. 19 Ch. 168, p. 46 that giants are able to become way older than humans – up to 300 years:

Of course, obtaining a giants age would not lead to immortality, but it would buy some time if they could copy that effect of slow aging. Also, if the WG got to know why giants become that old, they might find a way to become even older.

As recently shown Dr. Kureha is quite vital at 141 years.

As we know, she always spoke of herself as a young woman. Now imagine if she would have found the secret to age like a giant. She would have been aged like a ~65 years old “normal OP-human”. She also will attend the Reverie. Maybe Wapol told information about Dr. Kureha to the WG in exchange which could lead to a capturing, too. Or maybe Dr. Kureha does already know Dr. Vegapunk. We will see – but it is for sure that her biological clock would be interesting to the WG.

Beyond the pirate theme of the 16th century from our real life, One Piece is influenced by futuristic science fiction aspects, too. Besides Dr. Vegapunk (and Franky), also Dr. Tsukimi seemed to work on “robotic” individuals.

In parallel to other experiments, Dr. Vegapunk created cyborgs. Cyborgs consist of biological individuals with mechanical parts:

At first glance, they just seem to be powerful military forces. But there could be a deeper meaning to their nature. If it was possible to replace every single (human) body part step by step, biologic individuals could be prevented from dying by age, diseases or wounds – as long as they are able to conservate the (human’s) conscious mind.
Until now, they seem to have failured in “recreating” a human being, since “Kuma” lost his personality:

But it could only be a matter of time, until Dr. Vegapunks finds out how “to replace a brain with its personality”. An important clue is that Dr. Vegapunk managed to transmit a Devil Fruit onto a lifeless object plus that Devil Fruits might transfer characteristics of the previous owner(s).

Not being a great military force, the automatas that Dr. Tsukimi build seem to have emotions:

Therefor Dr. Tsukimi seems to be the first one shown who created entirely artificial life:

Also, Enel just had to “breathe life into automatas” by electric energy “to (re)vive” them:

Using this very technology could mean that Dr. Tsukimi found a way to play God. Still we do not know where Dr. Tsukimi lived or to whom he could belong to. But maybe his residence was close to the Marines/ WG:

The question would be, why the WG did not use Dr. Tsukimi’s knowledge, yet. Probably, the Marines/ the WG did not know about him/ his knowledge/ what Automatas are. (But I guess Dr. Vegapunk most likely will or even does already know.)

Last but not least, I will link the WG’s goal to the big treasure One Piece which might be the only durable solution to survive.
Referring to my main theory

(- that OP’s loose template is based on “The Mysterious Cities of Gold” from 1982), the One Piece will be a device which bears the energy of the inner Sun (- besides countless (loose) parallels, Sun energy was once used peacefully by two kingdoms, but then a war broke out, Sun weapons were used and the kingdoms vanished). In TMCoG it was stated that it provides those who use it as a medicine that could cure any disease. Everybody could live eternally.
If that was the case, the WG would be highly interested in that device as well. But that is only speculation..~
(Also, the Gorosei could be aliens.)

At this rate, it seems that the Gorosei (= masterminds of world politics) are looking for different ways to evade death due to age, diseases and/ or wounds (at least temporarily) – …

• … either by Devil Fruits (of Law, Bonney, Mansherry(, Kaidou), …), …
• … or by biology knowledge about giants and/ or Dr. Kureha, …
• … or by advanced technology regarding cyborgs and automatas and the “One Piece”.

Nevertheless, nothing and no one seems to be invulnverable so nothing or nobody could become immortal, technically (- Kaidou was defeated before, still seems to have “luck”; Poneglyphs can be formed). But still, they try to survive eternally, thus becoming “as immortal as possible“.

Let’s start with Shirahoshi probably travelling along to the Reverie.

As soon as I read this in the latest chapter I thought it was a big mistake. Shirahoshi is the ancient weapon Poseidon because she can communicate with Seakings. This ability however is useless on land where there are no Seakings to control. This also affects the fighting power of the Fishman army which will travel together with the royal family to the Reverie (since Fishman loose their advantage on land).

The WG as of yet has no reason to capture Shirahoshi because they don’t know she is the ancient weapon Poseidon. This however might change because of the involvement of Kano country, the country of flowers.

Its likely that Kano country, just like Wano country, has a connection to Kaido.

This is because Sai, his brother and Chinjao all have numbers on their body. This is similar to Scotch who also was working for Kaido.

And if were talking about Scotch we also have to talk about Drake and Caribou.

Caribou was fighting Scotch and was later captured by Drake (who is also working for Kaido).

And Caribou learned about Shirahoshi being the ancient weapon Poseidon.

That brings me to my conclusion: The possibility exists that Kano Country will reveal the fact that Shirahoshi is the Ancient Weapon Poseidon at the Reverie resulting in the capture of Shirahoshi.

Last year, I saw a theory video about what could possibly be Luffy’s Gear Fifth. The premise of the theory was that Luffy’s Gears all focus on a different part of the body, making it unlikely for future Gears to be direct enhancements of previous ones. This may provide an explanation for why Gear Fourth has the title of Bounceman; the use of muscles is explicitly the basis of Gear Fourth, so any other muscle-based Gear abilities would be variants on Gear 4th. The theory I found (which sadly I cannot find now) stated that Gear 5th would focus on the nervous system, allowing Luffy to take control of his bioelectrical signals and weaponize them. The theorist further backed their idea with the fact that rubber, despite inhibiting electricity, can be electrically charged with static electricity, such as a balloon in the winter.

This got me thinking; is Luffy really smart enough to understand that his nerves have electricity running through them? Would he even be able to find his nervous system? For that matter, does he even know what a nervous system is? Sure, Rayleigh or Chopper could probably help him figure out something like that, but I don’t think so. I think Luffy would find a much simpler, more obvious source of electricity.

Let’s go back to the balloon example. Traditionally, what method do people use to charge balloons? They rub them against their hair. I propose that Gear 5th will indeed be electricity based, but not from the use of the nervous system, but rather the hair. Now, I do not propose that Luffy will pump air into his hair, as I do not think that that would produce the effect I am suggesting. Along the same line, though, I do not think pumping air into the nervous system would grant control of bioelectricity. What I am saying is that Luffy will add an electrical charge to his attacks, improving his offensive capabilities and possibly granting a speed power-up similar to Gear 2nd. If you are thinking that it would be redundant to give him another speedy Gear, bear in mind that Gear 4th is a power-type Gear like Gear 3rd. Also, I think that Gear 5th will be able to be used in combination with the previous Gears, so if you are worried that Gear 5th will lack the raw power of 3rd or 4th, I hope this will put your mind at ease.

The previous theorist suggested that they got the idea for electricity from Luffy’s Thor attacks.

Now, I admit, Thor Gigant Axe being from Strong World means it is not canon, but Strong World was written by Oda, so presumably Gigant Axe was his idea and was intended to be a demonstration of the Gum-Gum Fruit’s capabilities. Thor Elephant Gun, on the other hand, is canon, and as you can see, has electricity coming off of it. Unfortunately, the electricity is only shown during the clash with Don Chinjao, and admittedly may just be meant as sparks from the impact, but I still think the association of Thor, a previously mentioned electric-attack, and the visual of electricity may be meant as more than coincidence.

But how will Luffy discover that he can generate electricity through his hair? By accident, like he did with speeding up his blood flow and inflating his bones? Quite possibly, but I think not. You see, I came up with the idea of him using his hair around the time Doflamingo was defeated. I thought for a few months “he’ll probably run his hand through his hair on a winter island and find sparks or something.”

But then the crew arrived at Zou. Carrot attacked, electricity emanating from her paw. Strange, I thought. Rody the bull headbutts Luffy, also charged with electricity. We learn that all Minks can use this electric ability, known as Electro.

But why? Very few animals in the real world can utilize electricity. It’s not like Fishman Jujutsu, where fish people who live in water manipulate the water around them. That makes perfect sense, but why would any old land animal be able to use electricity? What’s the correlation?

The correlation, my friends, is fur. Every mammal has fur (with a few exceptions) and the Minks seem to be exclusively mammalian. In fact, it is explicitly stated that the fur of the Minks is their pride and joy (though I am having trouble finding the page this is said on). So, I believe that Electro is generated in the fur of the Minks, and that Carrot’s weapon is a furred paw-glove to facilitate the transference of Electro from her body to the weapon.

I think Luffy watching Carrot fight will give him the idea to try using his own hair to generate electricity. The result will likely be somewhat different from Electro, but he will more or less get the basic idea of using his own “fur” as a basis of the ability.

As I was writing this theory, I realized that there actually is a way Luffy could air in Gear 5th. He could pump air into the hairs along his body, such as on his arms or chest, to increase the surface area with which he can generate electricity. I don’t think this is too likely, as we have never seen Luffy with hair anywhere other than his head, but the idea of Luffy puffing himself up and suddenly being really hairy sounds exactly like something Oda would do. Besides, perhaps the hair on his arms is just really small, not even sticking out of the follicles, so he needs to pump up just to get it to show. Remember, Oda has stated that the point of Luffy is to keep the story ridiculous even at its most serious moments, so I don’t have any trouble imagining Luffy making himself absurdly hairy in the middle of a decisive battle. Hell, making himself hairy may give him more of a monkey appearance, and I have seen a couple of theories that his Awakening or Gear 5th will make him “the Monkey King.” His hair may just be the key to that.

In summary; I believe Luffy will be inspired by the Minks’ Electro ability to try using his hair to generate electricity for Gear 5th; he may pump up his body hair to make himself more Mink-like, taking on the appearance of a monkey for this new form.
