One Piece Legends – AMV
THE HAKI OF KINGS
Alright, so there have been many theories on CoC, conquerors haki.
The definition of Conqueror’s haki by the One Piece Wiki:
Here is some Haki in action:
So far haki has been generally thought of as Fodder control, until Dragon:
Many have speculated that the sudden change in weather was caused by two things: A devil fruit, OR Haki.
There have already been many theories on the devil fruit side. Such as wind logias, mystical/legendary zoans, weather paramecias. But let’s explore the side of Haki theories.
________________
So then let’s explore the idea that Dragon’s haki was in fact the source of the weather change.
What do we know about Conqueror’s haki? We know that only one in a million power. According to Rayleigh, simply explained it’s intimidation as explained here:
When Shanks visits Whitebeard, his haki put cracks into the actual ship. He broke the ship with intimidation. Almost like a sudden release of energy caused the ship to break.
So if Haki can affect other objects, then this opens up a whole new world of understanding.
If Dragon used Haki to control the weather, Shanks used haki to break a boat, and Luffy made hundreds of people fall unconscious to this power, then what is it really?
I believe that conqueror’s haki is the ability to release one’s inner flame. The ability to release the energy, the power, of one’s own will into the physical realm. It affects everything, people, elements, and even objects. It is the true sign of a king. It announces the presence of a king, and it also carries the power behind him. It can be used to directly manipulate/bend anything to the king’s will. Turning the tides of war, stopping time for a split second, controlling the elements, bending the will and soul of the world and snuffing out the weak’s spirit. Born in the souls of people destined to become kings. In short it is the ability to overwhelm.
__________
So then what does that mean? What can we expect from this awesome power if what I believe is true? If CoC is so much more than fodder control, what kind of powers could be unlocked from this?
- Direct manipulation of the elements. Notice I say manipulation and not control? Luffy is not going to become the last airbender. But rather I believe with strong enough haki, a King could yes, control the weather. But also I imagine them walking through fire unscathed.
- The ability to completely crush the spirit of one’s enemy. I believe the power of CoC is directly proportionate to the user’s willpower. If that’s the case, with strong enough willpower, a king could overwhelm his enemy, breaking his spirit, and weakening him beyond the point of recovery. Imagine Luffy fighting and beating an enemy without ever touching him. The “death stare”.
- Direct damage to surrounding objects. The ability to release a King’s energy in such a destructive force that a King could shatter mountains with a single glance. This could also be used as a form of offensive power. We see Shanks crack the side of the Moby Dick with a completely relaxed state of his haki. Imagine what would happen if he focused his CoC to a direct pinpoint position?
- The weakening and total intimidation to the point of rendering an attack void and useless. Not only immobilizing an enemy, but removing the force behind an attack. As if the King is telling the sword to stand down, and bending it’s will and soul to the king’s desire.
CoC suddenly became much more badass. Now, I’ll admit that there is little evidence supporting my theory. We have yet to see CoC used in such a powerful way. But I can’t just think that CoC, conqueror’s haki, the haki of kings, is simply fodder control.
So what do you guys think?

Shanks and Makino – One Piece [AMV – HD]
Haoshoku Haki and its Users
Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of Haki that cannot be attained through training. Only one in several million people have this ability. This type of Haki allows the user to exert their willpower over others. It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king.
This type of Haki grants the user the ability to dominate the wills of others. The most common usage of it shown in the series so far is using it exert the user’s willpower onto those with weak wills and rendering them unconscious. Whilst inexperienced users are restricted to merely overpowering the will of one individual or blindly knocking out weak-willed people around them, those with more expertise can pick out weak-willed individuals in a large group and knock them out without affecting the others. However, those with stronger wills can resist or even ignore the effects of Haoshoku Haki. The ability to knock someone out depends on the difference in strength between the person using the Haki and the person or persons the user is trying to knock out. The greater the power gap, the easier it is to knock the victim out. According to Rayleigh, while this type of Haki cannot be attained through training, it can be improved upon through strengthening the will of the user. It seems that upon recovery, victims of Haoshoku Haki experience the sensation of chills running through their body. However, it presumably wears off after a short period. One can also use Haoshoku Haki to destroy things as seen by Shanks. When on Whitebeard’s ship Shanks was able to crack a part of the ship using his Haki.
According to Trebol, Haoshoku Haki is proof of an individual who possesses the qualities of a king, a candidate chosen by heaven.[10]Indeed, most of the people who have been shown to possess Haoshoku Haki (aside from Luffy, Chinjao and the non-canon Naguri) share a royal position or epithet or attained some highly respected status, which indicate their dominating role:
- Boa Hancock, also known as the Pirate Empress, is Amazon Lily’s ruler and a member of the Oka Shichibukai (Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea).
- Donquixote Doflamingo is the former king of Dressrosa, a former member of the Oka Shichibukai, as well as a former World Noble.
- Edward Newgate was one of the Yonko (Four Emperors).
- Portgas D. Ace, being the son of the Pirate King, can metaphorically be considered a prince, and also misunderstood by the world at large that Whitebeard intended to make him the successor to the Pirate King. He was also the commander of the second division of Whitebeard’s fleet.
- Shanks is one of the Yonko.
- Silvers Rayleigh has the epithet of “Dark King”. He was also the right-hand of the late Pirate King.
While this is shown to be a very rare gift among the world as a whole, it is noted by Don Chinjao that the New World is filled with numerous others who possess the ability to use this Haki. He explains that Luffy will most certainly encounter them and fight them for the title of Pirate King.
WHY THE ‘NATIONAL TREASURE’ ISN’T THE ANCIENT WEAPON URANUS
The Battle of Edd War was 27 years ago.
Roger was executed 24 years ago. Three years difference.
Doflamingo is 41 years old.
41 – 24 = 17
Doflamingo was around 17 when he witnessed Roger’s execution:
Doflamingo was 10 when he gained knowledge of the National Treasure and escaped from Mariejois.
At the time of the Battle of Edd War, he was around 14 (17 – 3).
Shiki claimed that Roger knew the location of the Ancient Weapon, but hadn’t said which one.
Roger doesn’t deny this and “I have no desire to rule, Shiki!” as well as “You can pressure me all you want,” implies that he can access it, because he rejects Shiki’s offer to use it to conquer the world.
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Edd_War
Shiki was informed that Roger knew the location of one Ancient Weapon.
I believe that this Ancient Weapon was the Uranus.
Let me explain why this Ancient Weapon was the Uranus, instead of the Pluton or the Poseidon, through deduction:
– If Roger knew about the Pluton in Alabasta, then why didn’t Cobra mention Roger in the Tomb of the Kings?
Why did Cobra not have a saddened/noticeable expression when he read that Roger was executed?
Instead, he was more worried about the ‘terrible age’ that would begin.
Sure, Roger could’ve used the “voice of all things” to find and gain passage underneath the Tomb, and then used the same ability to learn the location of the Pluton from the poneglyph inside.
The Tomb Of The Kings
But this is highly unlikely and very far-fetched because he wouldn’t have known the secret entrance to the underground of the Tomb to start with; we also don’t know much about his VOAT ability – how he used it and such.
Robin Examining The Pluton Poneglpyh
-
If he read the blueprints of the ‘Second Pluton’, then he didn’t know the ‘location‘ of the Pluton, but the design of it from the blueprints.
So Roger did not have a newly-created ‘Second Pluton’, as there was no need to build it at that time, so he couldn’t have known the ‘location‘ of it.
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Pluton
The Pluton’s Blueprint
This is all still debatable as Tom didn’t let just anyone examine it; but then again, Roger had befriended him, with Tom having built the Oro Jackson for him.
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Gol_D._Roger
Thus it’s fair to say that Roger didn’t know the exact location of either of the Plutons.
– Roger probably knew the general location of the Poseidon from the poneglyph in Shandora, but he possibly knew that he couldn’t find it since it hadn’t been born yet, and thus he didn’t know the exact location of it, therefore I doubt it was this Ancient Weapon.
The Golden Belfry & Its Poneglyph
Robin Examining The Belfry’s Poneglyph
Roger’s Inscription Besides The Poneglyph
Perhaps when he went to Fishman Island he realised that the Poseidon wasn’t anywhere to be found.
The Oro Jackson Under The Ocean
Remember when Rayleigh said that “perhaps we […] were too impatient“.
It possibly meant that they were too early, one of the reasons being because:
The Battle of Edd War was 27 years ago.
Roger died 24 years ago.
Shirahoshi was born 16 years ago.
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Poseidon
Princess Shirahoshi: Poseidon
This leaves the Uranus.
People theorise that it’s the mysterious egg on Roger’s ship, which I strongly disagree with, and I’ll post all of the reasons why on another thread next time – there’s an interesting theory I have. It links with a Ghibli film.
The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Episode
The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Manga
For a start, Shiki and Roger spoke as if the latter knew the ‘location‘ of it, not as if he actually had it with him – the red-polka-dotted eggwas with Roger on the Oro Jackson, so it can’t be the Uranus.
But then again there were different translations – some say he found it, but most say that he knew the location. So we’ll go with the latter.
The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Merchandise
People theorise that it’s the National Treasure located within Mariejois, which I also disagree with.
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Mariejois
Considering that Roger had the location and (implied) access to the Uranus when Doflamingo was around 14, while he was still blackmailing the Celestial Dragons with the National Treasure, how could the Uranus be the National Treasure?
Roger and Shiki spoke as if the former could access it any time – wouldn’t that be difficult if the Uranus was in Mariejois?
Doflamingo informed the readers about the National Treasure at the age of 41, saying that he still used the knowledge of the NT to blackmail the CD, the WG and their affiliates.
Doflamingo’s Trump Card
So 41 – 10 = 31 –> for 31 years Doflamingo had been blackmailing the Celestial Dragons, even while the Battle of Edd War was raging, so the National Treasure is still within Mariejois.
If the National Treasure had to be something, it’d have to be something that they themselves created or stole long ago – what it could be:
- Something, possibly a weapon, that the 19/20 Kings used to help them defeat the Ancient Kingdom, thus why it’s heralded by Doflamingoas the “national treasure” (implying that the Celestial Dragons do so too and thus take pride in it since it helped them defeat the AK)
Don’t trust me on this though, this is only a wild guess. I’m clueless.[A key to the Uranus? I disagree because there are no keys to activate Poseidon.] [Sure, the description that Doflamingo gives of the National Treasure reminds us of the description of the Ancient Weapons, but that still doesn’t prove anything except that all of these things share being able to ‘shake the public world’ in common.] [Before arguing that “After Roger died, the World Government took control of the Uranus from Roger, and that became the National Treasure.” notice that it’s obvious from this thread that the Celestial Dragons had the National Treasure long before the Battle of Edd War, asDoflamingo was 10 when he gained knowledge of it and the Battle of Edd War was when he was around 14.]
To conclude:
- Roger had (implied) access to the Ancient Weapon, most likely Uranus, back when Doflamingo was still blackmailing the Celestial Dragons with the knowledge of the National Treasure hidden in Mariejois, and thus this proves that the Uranus and the National Treasure are two different things.
- I believe that the egg on Roger’s ship wasn’t the Uranus either, as Roger supposedly only knew the location of it – like I said, I’ll expand on this in another thread later.

Raftel’s Location Theory
Raftel was first mentioned by Crocus, It is the last island of the Grand Line in which by assumption, One Piece is hidden, even Crocus supposedly didn’t know where Raftel and One Piece was hidden.
But actually, Crocus did know the location of Raftel. Naturally, Raftel is the final destination and the location of One Piece. That’s simple, just get to the final island right? So why nobody except Roger reached it? Because the island of Raftel is hidden.
Let’s look at some statements from the manga first:
- We had been introduced to undersea volcanoes
- Winter Islands
- A very talented navigator
- A very formidable ship
- And Ship Coating
So, what’s the point of these things?
It’s the “way” to get to Raftel. The reason why no one reached Raftel is because Raftel is a “Rough Tale” or a legendary island. it’s an island that exists if you are willing to face dangers it presents.
Raftel is a floating, man-made island in a sea that is hidden underground or more specifically, inside a land mass. It is a “Raft” Island, reason why no log pose can detect it.
A pumice raft is a floating raft of pumice occasionally created by ocean-based or near-ocean volcanic activity. Biologists suggest that animals and plants have migrated from island to island on pumice rafts. Astrobiologists have hypothetically linked pumice rafts to the origin of life.
But where exactly is Raftel located?
Remember the proverb: “Sometimes what you’re looking for is right in front of you?”, it exactly applies to where Raftel is hidden.
Are you familiar with a pirate treasure map? Notice that the big X on every map is where the treasure is hidden.
Now, look at the One Piece World Map. Do you see the treasure mark?
Don’t see it? Take a closer look, the X is where the treasure is.
It’s right there. Raftel is inside the Reverse Mountain.
But that doesn’t mean that anyone can be lucky enough to stumble Raftel one way or another right. It’s just the “way” to Raftel. Of course we need the “fare”, “guides” and “drivers”.
And don’t you guys notice that though there is a way to get down to the Grand Line, there is no way to get back up on the other side? unless you’re in the Marines or a very strong pirate like Mihawk, going back to the 4 blues means you will have to backtrack until you reach the entrance to Reverse Mountain again.
And I can’t imagine how you can climb back up that mountain, so basically there’s no turning back to the four Blues.
This is where Luffy’s ability to hear “the voice of all things” comes in handy.
By the way, don’t you guys notice something with the former members of Roger Pirates? Luffy met Shanks in his village, Crocus in Twin Capes and Rayleigh in Sabaody Archipelago. Let’s consider Shanks, Rayleigh and Crocus as the “guides”.
What does this all mean?
You guys must have observed that Crocus and Rayleigh settled in a place where ALL pirates must go through right? Twin Capes is the place where pirates needs to go through when entering the Grand Line and Sabaody Archipelago is where pirates must stop by to proceed to Fishman Island. Isn’t that weird? Like they intended to be there of all places.
And isn’t it weird that out of all the people Shanks knew, he gave the Straw Hat to Luffy?
My guess is, Shanks was the “guide” and caretaker of the Straw Hat who was appointed to search for “The One”.
Seeing Luffy as “The One” they (The Roger Pirate Remnants) are waiting for, Shanks gave Luffy Roger’s Straw Hat to give sign to the other “guides”, Crocus and Rayleigh (and Gaban perhaps), that the successor to Roger’s will had arrived.
If you guys remember, Shanks stayed at Fuschia Village for years, I assume Shanks that time was on a mission to find the “D” to follow Roger’s will, prior to that, I believe that Shanks first tried to “test” a guy named Marshall D. Teach, but that guy turned out to be a traitor, note that Shanks met Blackbeard before Luffy.
Then harboring at Fuschia Village, Shanks met Luffy, another “D” and tested him, in which Luffy passed, so to assure that Luffy would come and become a pirate and ultimately arrive at the last island of New World where Shanks will wait, Shanks entrusted him the “Straw Hat” as a “fare” in which everyone close to Roger that will act as a “guide” will identify.
Roger’s Straw Hat is the “fare” the “guides” had been waiting for to lead Luffy to Raftel.
I do not know if Shanks had no interest in One Piece from the start, but one thing is fair to assume: he knows how to get there. But maybe he can’t or he knows they cannot reach it, or he simply just want Roger’s will to be fulfilled.
So, in order to carry the will of Roger, I believe Shanks (and other members of Roger Pirates) have all decided to wait for “The One”.
Here we see Crocus and Rayleigh expressing how they think Luffy is “The One”.
It had been said that the Roger Pirates had been gone for 1 year before Roger finally gave himself in.
Probably, Roger planned everything and then instructed his most trusted crew members that the will to change the world should be passed to the next generation because his days are numbered and he cannot finish the job because of his conclusion on the Poneglyphs and because he lacks what Luffy “got” right now.
Roger turning himself in, probably is his best way to be a fire-starter and create a new age of Pirates. (Like what Dr. Hiluluk did, with Isshou 20) and using One Piece as the prize so people would get interested.
So the “guides” jobs are fulfilled right? Not yet.
Their job is not yet done and in fact all the “guides” have not been found yet. There’s still one: Scopper Gaban.
Where would the crew meet Gaban?
If my calculations are correct, the crew will meet Gaban, like Rayleigh and Crocus, in a place where all paths converge to one, and in Grand Line, there are only 3 of them: Twin Capes, Sabaody Archipelago and Raftel. Scopper Gaban is most likely on Raftel.
The place where the different paths will converge into one once again, but this time, only one group will reach Raftel and Gaban is the guard of that place in case someone not worthy escapes Shanks’ station.
The “guides” job would be complete after the right one reaches Raftel.
- Shanks roaming around the world looking for the guy who would bear the Straw Hat.
- Crocus stationed in Twin Capes so he can relay the information to Gaban that the one they are waiting for had arrived.
- Rayleigh making sure that “The One” would reach the New World safely.
- Shanks waiting at the final island of the New World, expecting that the invested promise he put on “the Straw Hat” will really arrive.
- Shanks being the guard to stop anyone who would go after “The One”.
- Scopper Gaban keeping guard of One Piece and Rio Poneglyphs until “The One” arrives.
I suppose Gaban is this guy chilling with Crocus in the Twin Capes since he just needs to get out of the Reverse Mountain.
Wait, what? Get out of Reverse Mountain? Going in is extremely hard, how the hell can you get out of that place?
Same way how the Thousand Sunny will get out after getting to Raftel. By coming out of the center of Reverse Mountain, like this:
And I think it had been foreshadowed with the Strawhats meeting whales on the key points of their journey, twice: after entering the Grand Line and after entering the New World.
When they enter Raftel, it would be like meeting a whale, the whale, though, is the Red Line and Reverse Mountain itself, because Raftel is like being swallowed by a large whale and blowing you out of his hole in his head. The frenzy entrance to Reverse Mountain to Grand Line and being sucked out by a White Strom also appeared to me as a hint of the crazy ride out the Reverse Mountain.
Basically, going out of the Reverse Mountain is as crazy as entering the Knock-Up stream. (now that I thought about it, entering Skypiea also gave foreshadowing of being like swallowed by a whale and going out like being blown upwards) and Luffy’s arrival (being sucked in by a whirlpool and coming out of a barrel upwards).
That’s right, going out of Reverse Mountain is the same principle as of the Knock-Up Stream, the only difference is, there’s a twist.
Not only is the Reverse Mountain a winter island, which is why it pushes the water out to grand line, It also has an underground volcano inside it, that produces a whirlpool that creates strong upward currents for the four Blues’ oceans.
Here’s the idea of Knock-Up Stream, this is what’s right below the hole of the Reverse Mountain I assume, an underground volcano.
Not to mention that a volcano got a crater, so it creates a whirlpool underwater, It had been shown in the series how a hole in the seafloor affects the flow of the currents.
So, to simplify the explanation of water currents throughout the series, unlike the Knock-Up Stream that lasts up to only 1 minute, I’ll assume that the Reverse Mountain is a continuous flow of warm water (undersea volcano) and cold water (Reverse Mountain being a winter island) reason why it creates a never ending whirlpool (also because the undersea volcano inside the mountain got a crater which create whirlpools) and a Geyser-like reaction in the middle.
It produces a current that pulls in and at the same time, pushes out.
Here’s an illustration:
That’s why a very formidable ship and a talented navigator is required. And this is how the crew will get out of Raftel.
Also, did you guys notice something? The Reverse Mountain pulls in the waters from all the four Blues, and Nami already stated that you can get either dragged down or get through down the Grand Line.
So it’s logical to think that since there is an ocean inside the Reverse Mountain and since ships can get caught in the mountain’s current, It is definitely possible that fishes gets caught in it too.
As an evidence that fishes get caught in the Mountain’s current, here’s one that came from South Blue and got through to the Grand Line:
Waters from all four Blue seas meet in Reverse Mountain, so do the fishes: All Blue. All Blue, the legendary ocean is the ocean inside the Reverse Mountain.
As soon as the crew reaches Raftel, Sanji will fulfill his dream of locating All Blue.
And as soon as they come down to the Twin Capes again, Brook will fulfill his dream of meeting Laboon.
Now that we discussed how would they get out, let’s first see how the crew would find Raftel.
So there’s no entrance to the other side of the Reverse Mountain.
Earlier we saw the panel that says the Reverse Mountain is a winter island right? Well obviously, the water around winter islands is obviously cold, and these part of the ocean produce “downward currents” especially in the deepest regions.
To simplify:
1. Cold water is heavier, especially around winter islands and creates downward currents
2. The deepest parts of the sea got a different current and they are connected to each other
3. Sailing back to the surface within these regions will be a real slow process
4. Many more kinds of creatures and dangers are present in the deepest regions of the sea
Well, it’s not that hard to do, just coat the ship and submerge, and a very good navigator will get the job done.
But here’s the tricky part, because if the entrance to Raftel is just under the ocean in line with the Reverse Mountain, some other pirates with a good submarine like Trafalgar Law or good navigator like Blackbeard should’ve already found it.
So while I do believe that entrance to Raftel is by going under the ocean and locating the entrance, I’d like to believe that the way to Raftel is somewhere were no ship would think of submerging to – the Calm Belt.
The entrance to Raftel may be in the Calm Belt along the Red Line near the Reverse Mountain in the end of New World, under the ocean.
I believe that the “entrance to Raftel being in Calm Belt” idea is proven on the events before time-skip when Silvers Rayleigh swam trough the Calm Belt.
Of course, no other pirates or person would try this, even if they are as strong as Rayleigh, because they don’t know that Raftel’s entrance is there.
So, how the hell could they submerge in the Calm Belt?
You guys remember the Calm Belt and the Sea Kings the Strawhats met before they even entered the Grand Line?
Well what do you know, they were in Fishman Island too.
They went through the Red Line. It’s one thing that they can go through the Fishman Island, but I believe that there’s an entrance in the deepest regions of Calm Belt along the Red Line on the entrance to Grand Line too because Calm Belt is supposed to be the Sea Kings’ lair.
You guys remember that Fishman Island was 10,000 meters deep right? I think Calm Belt is deeper or at least as deep if its the Sea Kings’ lair.
As stated by Brook earlier, there are certain group of species that can submerge in deepest level of the ocean, and that includes the Sea Kings.
first of all it’s too dark and only massive fishes can go there, and Fishmen can probably go there but it’s either they never leave their kingdom in the Fishmen Island or even they fear the Sea Kings to go there.
And it’s the Calm Belt, no one probably ever goes there. Not even Fishmen, and even the Marines needed kairoseki (sea stones) to cross the Calm Belt.
So what happens when other fish/sea creatures that can’t submerge that deep and get lost by going into this dark and deep entrance? The whales that can only be seen in West Blue will give an example:
They are scarred all over, they got through but they had been severely injured. Well, unless you have someone in your crew that can “hear the voice of all things”.
In the first few panels, we can see that the Sea Kings are hinting that Luffy will develop this ability later on in the series, and in the last panels, comparing him to Roger.
I did mention about the “way”, the “fare” and “guides” to get to Raftel, but the most important one is to get the “drivers” to help you – the Sea Kings.
As stated earlier, submerging to the deepest regions of the ocean is a hard thing, but most probably it’s extra hard submerging into the Calm Belt.
First, the currents deep down the Calm Belt probably is the wildest, heaviest and most unpredictable current in all of the oceans. Second, it is infested with Sea Kings. Third, one cannot simply dive into the Calm Belt.
The ability to “hear the voice of all things” is the ability to “understand” the will, history and feelings of a being, living and none even without speaking in tongues.
Note that the ability to hear “the voice of all things” and Poseidon’s ability are two different things: Poseidon can fully control, speak and manipulate Sea Kings, while Luffy’s ability is just to understand “their voices”.
Chopper, Jinbe and Camie’s ability to hear and speak some animals are also different, it’s their natural ability due to them being half-animals.
Isn’t it weird that Luffy befriends too many animals? It’s not just a running gag. Luffy is actually unlocking his ability little by little.
And Luffy got this, although unlike Roger, Luffy is not fully awakened and aware of it. I assume Roger was.
The reason why Roger can understand and write on the Poneglyph in Skypiea even without the knowledge about it, but nevertheless, whenever Luffy becomes aware of his ability of hearing the “voice of all things” it will help him understand the calm waters of Calm Belt that calls his ship to go and submerge underwater and find the entrance to Raftel.
And the ability to hear “the voice of all things” will invoke the aid of Sea Kings, guiding and keeping their ship safe in locating the entrance to Raftel.
So now, with the crew having reached Raftel, Luffy fulfilled his dream, One Piece is located there, rightfully guarded by the final “guide” Scopper Gaban.
The Rio Poneglyph is also there. Robin fulfills her dream of locating the Rio Poneglyph.
Thousand Sunny reached Raftel as well. Franky’s dream is fulfilled.
Chopper may discover a special plant on Raftel that turns out be the Panacea (medicine that can cure any thing) which he would use later. Chopper’s dream fulfilled.
Nami can draw the final island and finally fulfill her dram of drawing a map of the world.
Just one last thing, if you need more evidence about the location of One Piece, it is also hinted in the logo of One Piece logo itself, read this illustration for the detail:
Shanks is another word or term for “anchor” which is at the end of the logo. Shanks is waiting for Luffy at the end of the world.
All rights go to the maker of this theory.
A ‘D’ CLAN ODYSSEY: THE VOICE OF ALL THINGS
Hello once again everyone and welcome back to yet another theory for your entertainment. This time I shall be discussing pretty much everything about the Ancient Kingdom and the D clan.
Geological Location.
Oda said that in the real world, Luffy would be Brazilian. Its safe to assume that Garp and Dragon are Brazilian as well and since Roger is so similar to Luffy, he is Brazilian also. I think its safe to say that East Blue represents Brazil.
East Blue is based off South America. In fact, the Ancient Kingdom itself is based off a kingdom in South America. Before that however…..
Obviously its a map of the world and South America is in the western hemisphere, but guess what? For Japan, they use the pacific world map.
This places South America in the East.
Also, did any of you know that the Americas(North and South America) was referred to as the ‘New World‘ by the Europeans(Europe, Africa and Asia was known as the old world)?
And finally, lets uses a OP world map and compare it to the pacific world map.
Everything seems to align right?
-Europe, Asia and Africa is more so the “New World” of One Piece.
-The New World of OP lines up with the western hemisphere where the New World is located in real life.
-North Blue usually have people who are wealthy and European and it just so happens to line up with Europe.
Wait…….East Blue lines up with North America and not South America….
Well that is true but it doesn’t make much of a difference since its called the Americas….ok that is pretty vague but there is more to it and I’ll get to it later so lets return our focus to the maps.
For the OP map, you see where Raftel is located?
Overlap it with the pacific world map, Raftel would be located somewhere near Indonesia. This is a huge coincidence because there was a kingdom in Indonesia called Jayabaya, which had a prosperous king named ‘Joyoboyo’.
Remember Joy Boy? The name is obvious but Joyoboyo was known as a just and prosperous ruler who not only was believed to the reincarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, but sought to restore justice, social order and harmony to the world.
Its too big to be a coincidence…..the Ancient Kingdom draws alot of inspiration from Jayabaya and its in the New World and at the very least, near Raftel.
Also, Jayabaya was a Hindu kingdom and the Ancient weapons has alot of similarities to Hindu gods.
The Ancient Kingdom is pretty much located in the center of the world.
**************************
Now then, South America was called the ‘New World’ and was speculated to have lots of mythical creatures and civilizations. The Spanish Inquisition(Marijoies) of South America(Ancient Kingdom) was the central point of the Age of Discovery. Cities of gold, to giants, to valleys of cinnamon and to the Andes mines filled with Gold, Sliver and Copper.
The Ancient Kingdom draws inspiration from the Inca Empire in South America.
The Symbol of the Inca Empire.
The symbol of the sun?
The Flag of the Sun Pirates(Fisher Tiger and Jinbe) who sought equality.
The Inca Empire was also a kingdom of natives.
Monkey D. Dragon strongly resembles a native with his tattoo and widow’s peak.
Bartholomew Kuma draws reference from Ninomiya Sontoku and Bishop Bartholome de las Casas, the latter being known as the “Defender of the Indians“.
You could say that Monkey D. Dragon is the new Sapa Inca trying to get back his land.
The king of the Inca Empire, the Sapa Inca, was killed by Fransisco Pizarro, a Spanish Conquistador. Pizarro?
The Pizarro family(the Europeans in general) lead many expeditions throughout South America in search of wealth and conquering Peru, that was in the hands of the Inca Empire. Hold it…aren’t the BB pirates on their way to Baltigo? Coincidence?

Now that we have the AK location established, I think its time to say that the ‘D’ clan are NOT blood related…..well mostly at least…..
Its called the Ancient KINGDOM. A kingdom is usually a gathering of different families and societies to make up one huge nation. The Ancient Kingdom are like the SH pirates; one big, happy family without blood relation. Anyone who joins the kingdom is a beloved nakama and inherited the name ‘D’ as proof. Luffy and Law may both be ‘Ds’, but they probably share no blood relation whatsoever.
However, this kept bothering me.
The Tenryubitto know about ‘D’ so its not like that middle initial is some sort of secret codename. Even more strange…..WHY HASN’T THE TENRYUBITTO INITIATE SOME KIND OF ‘D’ GENOCIDE!!!?? GO FRIEZA ON THEM!!
If ‘D’ is that dangerous, why aren’t they taking any special precautions against them in today’s age?
“That name has become too exposed…”
“I’m not supposed to tell anyone my full name….”
It seems that for centuries, the name ‘D’ has been under the radar. When the AK were defeated by the 20 Kingdoms, they were wiped out to near extinction and the survivors scattered throughout the world. Its pretty safe to assume that for at least a while after the war, those with ‘D’ in their name were captured and/or slaughtered so survivors kept their whole names hidden while others discarded the name all together for safety.
So….either a member ‘D’ stops talking about the name or discard the name all together and eventually, the meaning of ‘D’ would be lost in history. The Tenryubitto and the WG could not go on a killing spree because if they did, the people would grow suspicious and would try to learn the meaning of ‘D’, putting the their rule in grave danger. It is best to keep the name as hidden and low key as possible.
Eventually, someone who bore the name ‘D’ would prove to be almost unstoppable and pose a huge threat to the rule of the Tenryubitto:
And the reason Gol D. Roger became such a threat is because of this:
The Voice of All Thing is a form of haki that allows the user to understand every living creature. The meaning of ‘D’ may be unknown now but the answers lie in the Poneglyphs and in the creatures that existed during the Void Century.
The first user of this ability was Joyboy using the Ancient Weapon Uranus. Not only that, it is because of Uranus that haki and DFs exist. Don’t you find it strange that haki can be embedded over DFs and a form of haki(CoA) can counter logias? Some DFs can counter haki like Absalom’s Clear Clear Fruit(The Kidd Alliance nor Doflamingo noticed Absa while he using his fruit.)
Those with the Conqueror’s Haki has a lineage that traces back to a family in the Ancient Kingdom, but only a DIRECT descendant of Joyboy can hear the voice of all things.
Since Luffy can hear the voice of all things, shouldn’t one of his parents have it too?
Either Dragon or his wife could/can hear the Voice of All Things as well.
