Hello once again everyone and welcome back to yet another theory for your entertainment. This time I shall be discussing the money problems of Big Mom and her connection to WB.

Before I start, have you noticed that Big Mom is the only yonko who seemingly has no quarrels with other yonko? So far in the series, Whitebeard, Blackbeard, Shanks and Kaido all has quarrels with each other. Not only that, Whitebeard and Shanks don’t care about pillaging, Blackbeard and Kaido wants to turn the world upside down and Big Mom is completely gray; she seems to be pure business. Even the islands she protects is a matter of business.

Back to the main topic, money seems to be a key theme with Big Mam. She lent money to Caesar for his research.

Two of Big Mom’s ships has been destroyed and apparently she and her crew needed alot of cash to get them fixed, directly hinting struggling finances.

And no we have Miss Bakking who only looks at money……do I even need to explain her similarities to Big Mam and her crew? If you do, I’m seriously questioning your perception….

Now then, Miss Bakking is obviously apart or was apart of Big Mam’s crew, but why is she traveling around with Edward Weeble? This brings up 3 questions:

1. Why is Miss Bakking and Weeble playing off as WB’s son and spouse?

Because WB and Big Mam had an alliance due to marriage. Pay attention to rings on Big Mam’s and Bakking’s fingers(and bracelets…lots of Jewelry)

Now look at the jewelry and hat that one of WB’s pirate allies is wearing.

This elderly woman’s name is Elmy and she is an infamous NW captain and was in an alliance with WB. Not a member, just an ally. She was loyal enough to help WB rescue Ace and attend their funerals. Now does it makes sense that both Big Mam and WB are called “mama and papa” by their crew members? Not only that, have you noticed that there are no female fighters in WB’s main crew? Could just be his overprotective nature(daddy’s little girl).

Anyways, why would Big Mom have a marriage alliance with WB? Who knows….maybe because she wanted Fishman Island sweets but because it was WB’s territory, she couldn’t strong-arm them to a satisfactory degree unless she made an alliance with WB? After WB died, Big Mam took control of Fishman Island for them sweets.

2. Why is Miss Bakking obsessed with money?

I have 2 reasons why: either Miss Bakking is in charge of collecting Big Mom’s funds(Bakking means “fine” or “penalty”) or she has her own agenda. I’m more inclined to believe in the latter because why would Big Mom target the WB remnants for money? Sure she may spend alot but she can just raid a town for cash.

3. Who IS Edward Weevil?

For starters, Weevil only became known to the world during the two years the SHs were absent. Weevil’s 480 million bounty is the result of defeating WB allies and causing civilian casualties. Also, WB allies were only defeated because their disputes with Weevil got out of hand. Miss Bakking never planned on Weevil becoming a shichibukai, but

PURE SPECULATION
The day Weevil was revealed, I said Weevil was a modified human due to his stitches similar to Absalom. The only person we know of that can modify human bodies is Doctor Hogback so did Weevil come from Thriller Bark? Did Miss Bakking give Moriah Lola in exchange for Weevil? Did Moriah and Bakking plan everything from the get go? Does this explain why Moriah was so pressed about WB in Marineford?

CONCLUSION and FINAL THOUGHTS
-I believe Miss Bakking and Weevil will show up at the tea party
-Big Mom seems to have problems with money and the SHs have a member who is very good with that

-WB and Big Mom were in an alliance but since WB is dead, Miss Bakking is collecting the payment and is currently after Luffy to find Marco.

-I think Moriah would return sometime during the tea party

-Nami has Big Mam’s vivre card so will that play a role in the future?

-Lastly, Big Mom is after Luffy because he owes her candy. Big Mom is all business and hates people who doesn’t keep their end of the deal.

-Lastly, I think Weevil is going to become an ally of Luffy. Doesn’t Miss Bakking and Weevil seem familiar?

And who stopped them?

So many of our latest suspicions were correct in that the Vinsmokes are prominent figures in the underworld. And a twist..they are assassins!! Now we know what the Vinsmokes are. But for them to be only a family of assassins and wield enough power to get an only alive poster for Sanji shows how powerful the head of the family is. And that also means Sanji has two older siblings who must be powerful as well.

My fascinations from this chapter are:

1. Why is a family able to have the WG’s and the Yonko’s co-operation at the same time? It’s unprecedented as far as I know.
2. Why are the WG even co-operating with assassins when they have the Cipher Pol at their disposal?
3. Cipher Pol don’t seem to be related to the Vinsmokes, Sanji didn’t recognize them at Water 7 or seem to be familiar with them.

Ultimately, just who are the Vinsmokes and why are they so powerful? They’re playing both sides. Perhaps, they’re Black Mailing the WG?

How much do you know about the man that created the most successful manga series ever? How much more would you want to know about him? We’ll tell you 10 things you should know about Eiichiro Oda!

10 – Eiichiro Oda’s Birthday 
Let’s begin with the basics, Eiichiro Oda was born on January 1, 1975 in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan. 

09 – What Inspired Eiichiro Oda To Begin “One Piece”
Undeniably, Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama’s work (notably, Dragon Ball) and aspired to become a manga artist. He also mentioned that his interest in pirates was sparked by the popular TV animation series called “Vicky the Viking”. Oda began his manga career in 1992 at the age of 17, when his one-shot cowboy manga Wanted! won second place in the coveted Tezuka manga awards. Oda went on to work as an assistant to some of the biggest manga artists in the industry, including Nobuhiro Watsuki, before winning the Hop Step Award for new manga artists. His pirate adventure One Piece, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1997 quickly became one of the most popular manga in Japan with sales of over 65 million copies.

08 – One Piece! Favorite Villain, Devil Fruit & Who He Would Want To Be
Fans have been very curious to know the authors thoughts on his own creation, who wouldn’t want to know who is his favorite character in his own creation? Several fans asked these questions and Eiichiro Oda has answered them:

-Favorite One Piece Villain: Buggy The Clown

-What Devil Fruit Would He Eat: Bara Bara No Mi / Chop-Chop Fruit

-Manga Character He Would Like To Be: Nico Robin (so that he could “sprout hands and draw manga twenty times as fast.”)

07 – Eiichiro Oda’s Family
Yes, although he dedicates most of his time to One Piece he does have a family! In 2002, he met Chiaki Inaba, who played Nami during the Shonen Jump Fiesta and the two started dating. In 2004, they got married, and in 2006, he and his wife had a daughter. He went for Nami eh… sorry all you Robin fans! We can only imagine what great talent their daughter will be born with, probably the best mangaka of the next generation?

06 – Eiichiro Oda’s Lifestyle
What does it take to be the best mangaka? Well, certainly it takes lot of dedication, wish to know more about how Oda lives out his everyday life? Do note, some of the information related to his lifestyle is from 2013, certain aspects of his lifestyle may have changed now!

• He is a smoker (in-fact, a chain smoker) and fans believe this is due to the “stress” involved in the profession
• He prefers to work with the least amount of assistants required, he prefers to draw majority of the chapters himself
• He has made it clear that he doesn’t like to copy and paste old art into new chapters, if a event or events have already been illustrated and needs to be re-used, he draws them all over again
• He wakes up at 5 am, works until 2 am (21 hours!) and sleeps from 2 am until 5 am (3 hours) on an average day
• He “lives” in his workplace, his family visits him at his workplace, and he spends an average of one day with them without having to work at the same time
• When asked “how does he blow of stress” Oda stated that he blows of stress by “writing an interesting manga.” When asked “when does he feel the happiest” he answered “while writing an interesting manga”
• He listens to “Soul” music at his workplace
• When asked what is his schedule for the week, he answered “three days of sketching and three days of working on the final piece”
• Eiichiro Oda dreams about products that can’t be made with present technology

05 – Oda Is A Fan Of…
We are huge fans of Oda, right? But who is Oda a fan of? Well, we’ll inform you who Oda is a fan of and what Oda loves when it comes to movies, food, etc.

• He highly respects mangaka Hiroyuki Takei.
• He is a huge fan of rapper Eminem.
• He is a fan of singers Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Izumi Katou and Brook Benton.
• His favorite music is ’70s Soul Music
• He is a fan of the following directors, actors & actress: Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, Akira Kurosawa, Hayao Miyazaki and Baz Luhrmann.
• He likes Hayao Miyazaki’s animated works.
• He is a fan of the Dragon Quest game series.
• His top three favorite movies are: Seven Samurai, Young Guns and Nightmare Before Christmas.
• His favorite real pirate is Blackbeard (Edward Teach).
• He is a fan of Mexican Food.
• He wishes to visit Mongolia, Maldives and India at least once.
• His favorite animals are big, gentle dogs.
• He is not a fan of television programs, but likes comedy shows.
• He is a fan of Westerns movie genre.

04 – Eiichiro Oda’s Dedication To One Piece And His Fans
With the series now going on for more than 15 years, it’s given that Oda is dedicated to the series as well as the fans who support him. But did you know to what extent his dedication goes to? Well, if you though his dedication ended with just working 21 hours a day, 6 days a week, you are wrong! When Eiichiro Oda was hospitalized in 2013, Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto’s mangaka) visited him at the hospital and witnessed Oda drawing next chapters of One Piece while being bedridden!

That’s right, even being bedridden doesn’t stop him from working on One Piece, the only way to keep him away is to knock him out with really strong sleeping gas! If that isn’t dedication, then I frankly don’t know what is. And it isn’t because Eiichiro Oda needs to work, he earns approximately 2 Billion Yen (about 25 million U.S Dollars) from the royalties related to One Piece each year! He doesn’t need to work, it’s just his dedication that keeps driving him forward even at a place he ought to rest!

03 – Eiichiro Oda Has Received Death Threats
If you thought mangakas were safe from death threats… think again! Yep, in 2007 Eiichiro Oda received not one or two, but roughly one hundredthreats (via e-mail) from a woman between September to December.

The woman’s husband was an assistant at Oda’s office who had been dismissed, the woman was arrested in 2009. Well what did we learn from that? Crazed wives of ex-assistants are scary… yep.

02 – Eiichiro Oda’s Future Plans
We all know One Piece is going to come to an end sometime in the future, what does Oda have planned after One Piece ends? Is he going to retire and live the rest of his life comfortably? No!

Eiichiro Oda had stated that he would want to create a robot (mecha) manga after One Piece finishes, however he later stated that after One Piece finishes he would like to take the same path Toriyama did and create short-story manga. Once a mangaka, always a mangaka!

01 – Eiichiro Oda’s Apology For A 2 Week Hiatus Due To Hospitalization [2013]
Probably something every One Piece fan needs to absolutely know. Eiichiro Oda was hospitalized and treated for peritonsillar abscess, One Piece was put on hiatus for 2 weeks, in #04 we showed his dedication drawing while bedridden, but his dedication to his fans just doesn’t stop there. He issued an apology for making fans wait “2 weeks” to continue reading One Piece and the adventures of Straw Hat Pirates. This is the complete extract of the apology:

“I messed up! I put up with my illness for too long, and my condition got worse. I apologize to all the readers who were looking forward to the next chapters, as well as to all the Straw Hats who were really looking forward to wreaking some havoc. But I’m currently going through some painful treatment. The story was just about to take a new turn, so I really really wanted you all to read the next chapter as soon as possible. I know how long two weeks can feel for all the shonen out there, but please wait for just a bit longer.”

In an SBS question, a fan asked Oda that since Chopper had such an amazing blue nose that allows him to identify his fellow crewmates, what do they all smell like. When this question was first asked, the Straw Hats only had 6 members. At a later SBS, Oda provided the other smells for the remaining crew members. All but Chopper’s smell were identified as Chopper cannot tell what he himself smells like.

-Most people hate Caesar Clown because he is evil, but I will explain why this is justified later on

-He seems too obvious, since he’s been in plain sight. But this is hiding in plain sight. Oda also said @old Jump Fiesta interview (2009ish) that the next strawhat would be past enemy 

-He is hated by some of the strawhats, especially Chopper (abusing medication)

-Good reasons to dislike Caesar, but the question is “Can he be redeemed”. I think he definitely can. but before that…

Reasons Caesar makes incredible sense

-He has nowhere to go or be safe. He has nobody who trusts him, and all the Yonkou are after him and his weapons/chemicals. Can’t become ally member

-Caesar has a dream, much like the other strawhats. He wants to surpass Vegapunk and become the best scientist. This is why he harms people carelessly

-Was an enemy, like Robin, Nami, Franky, Usopp. Doubted them initially, but it reinforces how much we like them

-He sort of fits in, and has shown a variety of other emotions aside from just being a psychopath. (Ex: embarrassed by chopper, play-fighting, sanji)

-Strawhats do not have a scientist or logia yet

-Caesar is a representation of Vegapunk (Luffy = Roger, Chopper = Hililuk and Crocus, Sanji = Zeff, Usopp = Yasopp)

-Caesar connects everyone else’s abilites (missing piece to a puzzle)
~Finish Sunny with chemicals instead of Cola (Create pluton) sort of like Enel’s electricity
~Help Chopper with medication (with chemicals and drugs)
~Help Franky by replacing cola (Or can help make cola through sugar chemical) and Franky wants to follow Vegapunks dream
~Help Usopp make pesticides and growth hormones for plants
~Provide flames and gas for Sanji’s cooking
~Something stupid for Luffy, like fireworks or cooking meat with flames.

-Very powerful (Top 5 in strawhats) he has poison, flames, air, many other elements other logias are limited to loads of potential

-Potential interest in ancient weapons, since he creates his own weapons
-Foreshadowing: Got symbol of the Strawhats (Chinese Zodiac signs)

-Connects to my next point: knows the secrets of SMILE and shinokuni/gas weapons. stopped gas on mink island

If you are still mad about his evil acts, here’s how he can redeem himself:

-If you supported Monet, then you should by default support Caesar cuz she was evil as well

-Since his dream is to become the best scientist, he was doing it in a bad way due to bad influences (Doffy).

-Never killed people for fun, he believed it was necessary for him dream, and only viewed people as test subjects

-Luffy and the strawhats have brought him humility, like with Big Mom, so now he is beginning to know human emotions and fear.

-Similar to other strawhats:
~Zoro cut down people for their bounties
~Robin betrayed many people and didn’t care if people died as long as she learned about history
~Nami stole from people to help her village
~Franky stole fortune from Luffy and beat up Usopp to build his dream ship
Ultimately Luffy saved them and gave them a better way to achieve his dream, like he will do with Caesar.

-Chopper seems most mad at him. But Chopper was the same, he experimented with monster point drugs and hurt people without realizing it, like Caesar

-Caesar can help get rid of all the weapons he created, and eventually make the crew like him by changing as a person and achieving his dream in a dif way

-Caesar never got a flashback, so he can have a very sad past that justifies his initial crazy nature.

-He will achieve his dream just like the rest of the strawhats by becoming best scientist, stopping his chem weapons, and learning about ancient tech.
